The “3‑Stripes Forecaster” is a voluntary, internal prediction activity for adidas employees worldwide in connection with the FIFA World Cup 2026 (the “Activity”). By participating in the Activity, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
The Activity is organized by adidas AG (the “Organizer”). For questions, please contact internal.communication@adidas.com. Participation is free of charge. No purchase, payment or other consideration is required to participate. Participation in the Activity is voluntary and open to adidas employees with a valid adidas login who access the Forecaster tool via adidas Single Sign‑On (SSO). Participation or non‑participation does not affect the employment relationship. Participation and results (including leaderboards) are for voluntary engagement purposes only and will not be used for performance evaluation, disciplinary action, compensation, promotions or other employment-related decisions. Any rights under employment contracts, company agreements, works council agreements or collective bargaining agreements remain unaffected.
Participants may choose to take part using their name or anonymously. Anonymous participation is permitted; however, anonymous participants are not eligible to receive any prizes.
External parties with an adidas login may participate in the Activity but are not eligible for prizes.
Participants can submit predictions for the FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and selected tournament events. Based on the accuracy of their predictions, participants are awarded points.
Points are used solely to determine participants’ ranking within the Forecaster tool and relevant leaderboards. Points have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and do not create any entitlement beyond participation in the Activity.
All points accrued are valid only for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and will be reset after the conclusion of the tournament. Detailed rules (including deadlines for submitting/changing predictions, scoring logic, and tiebreakers) will be communicated on the Activity page. In case of discrepancies between any communications and these T&Cs, these T&Cs prevail, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by the Organizer.
Leaderboards may be displayed globally and, where applicable, by region, location, or function. Rankings are determined automatically based on the total number of points earned by a participant.
In case of equal points, the system will apply pre-defined tie-breaker criteria (e.g., number of perfect score predictions) as described on the Activity page. Only if a tie cannot be resolved technically may a draw be conducted.
The Activity may include prizes. This may include one global prize as well as additional local, regional or function‑specific prizes, depending on the respective organizational setup.
Eligibility for local or function‑specific prizes requires that the participant belongs to the relevant location, region or function. Anonymous participants and external parties are not eligible for prizes.
The type, scope, and allocation of prizes may vary and will be communicated separately in the context of the Activity. There is no legal entitlement to any prize. Winners will be notified via adidas contact details. If a winner does not respond within a specified time, the Organizer may award the prize to an alternate winner. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. The Organizer may substitute prizes with items of equal or similar value.
The Activity runs from 18 May 2026 to 19 July 2026. adidas reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify, suspend or terminate the Activity for legitimate reasons. The Organizer may disqualify participants in case of (i) manipulation of the tool or exploitation of technical vulnerabilities, (ii) multiple accounts, (iii) interference with scoring or leaderboards, or (iv) other conduct that undermines the fairness or security of the Activity.
Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of operating the Activity, displaying leaderboards and administering prizes, in accordance with the applicable adidas privacy notices. Personal data may include your adidas user identifier, display name (or a system-generated screen name if you choose anonymous participation), organizational attributes used to display leaderboards (e.g., region/location/function), and data necessary to administer prizes. Data is processed for operating the Activity, displaying leaderboards, and prize administration, and only to the extent necessary. Further details (including retention periods, recipients, transfers, and your rights) are provided in the applicable adidas employee privacy notice and any tool-specific privacy notice referenced on the Activity page.
adidas may amend these Terms and Conditions where reasonably required for the proper operation of the Activity. The Activity is an internal adidas initiative and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with FIFA. All FIFA World Cup related trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for descriptive purposes only. If individual provisions are invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
